just rang dyno demon for a quote on a rebuild he said he was half way through doing it for me and its £1k just for parts then labour on top

now he has got to get a price on a second hand block

they put it through 3/4 times and it kept failing. looking at lambda sensor or whatever its called

mine needed that but the machine broke whilst doing the test so he had to pass it

i am getting a quote for a good rebuild them trying to sue the guy who built the last 2 engines for that amount maybe more.

then i'll stick a 2nd hand 1.4 put it back to standard and sell or trade it in
