Author Engine light came on for a bit?

The orange light came on for a few minutes a few days ago. I stopped the car and turned the engine off for a bit because i wasn't sure what it was, I started the car up again after 2 minutes and it hasn't come on since.

Anyone have any ideas as to what this was?

(1.2 8v, 1997)

yes...firstly post in help zone

second read your manual it will state it is only ever a problem if the light stays on. there was athread in HZ recently, it comes on purely cos the ECM recieved a value outside the expected parameters thats all.

only a problem if it stays on
