iv owned a 180 bhp glanza, no 1.6 gsi pish could push it. when i was stadard at 135bhp i was level with redtop corsa till 70mph. to say you push them is utter bullshit! maybe they thought "oh god another corsa" and didnt raise to your level.

well for starts its him that wanted the race an i wouldnt race him at first because i thought he would slaughter me but when i did race him he couldnt pull away. He might have been a totally crap driver like a couple of you have said, i dont now? but either way i was pushing him

im a technician for toyota and i know that no GSi is keeping up with a starlet glanza turbz! there 130+ bhp standard and push out so much tourque!
My mate also had an import modded 1 for a little while and i got the pleasure of taking it out and foooook mine! FFAAASSSTTTTT
It might have been a replica Glanza theres quite a few about,,,still 1.3 standard non turbz are pretty quick, i had a race with one in my previous car (Civic 1500 VTEC, slighty modded and stripped out) and it gave me a good run untill i was hitting 100+

well like i said I couldnt be sure, there is just no need for people to get touchy about it. My car aint standard either but I wouldnt say its THAT fast. If I see him again I will ask him what car it is and let you all know.
