now i know ime in the wrong etc and i admit that, but what can i use to lessen my chances of being caught again, are things like road angels worth the money etc?

stick to the speed limits would be the best advice to be honest. doesnt matter what the time is day or night, they should still be obeyed

I see this from both side of the arguements, yes you should be doing the right speed etc etc, but sometimes with flow of traffic, conditions, silly limits, pressure from drivers behind its not always possible.

You basically want one to stop getting caught by a mobile camera/copper in a bush (cunts), unfortunatly they arent good enough to do this

How much were you over the limit, were you offered the speed awareness course?

this is what i tried to explain, everyone speeds wether they know it or dont, i genuinely didnt think i was going that fast at all, but it happens and this is what ime trying to avoid

wasnt ofered anything like the course but he kept trying to scare me with the words 6points, court, bans etc

he was clearly a stuck up old guy

the laughable thing is that as i got into his car he moved his mobile phone and half eaten sandwich from the passenger seat

How do you know he caught you?

Did he pull you over for it?

it was on a straight road and i literally saw him as i passed him and that was only because of his interior light, he was hidden in a layby that is covered with tree's etc

sounds dodgy to me does he have proof? ie pictures or videos? surely they cant get you when they are hiding in the dark + if he didnt stop you until your in the 50 zone then you were under the speed limit (i dont know about these types of things) just sounds a bit weird to me

he said he caught me coming upto the 50zone, to be fair yes i was not in the 50zone but everysingle car that passed us whilst he writing my ticket was going easily over the limit and i havent seen a single person wait until they pass the 50 sign to accelerate up from 30

end of the day i know ime in the wrong and was just wondering if road angels etc are any good ?

one other little point is that he has written my name down wrong on the ticket, spelt incorrectly. will this affect anything

Spelling your name wont make any difference im afraid, I got my ticket on something that might as well have been a post it note and I still had to go to court. Its your choice really, you can take the easy way and have the 3 points or you could say he caught your speed in the 50 but you would have to go to court to defend yourself. A barrister is expensive if you want one to help you and the fine will go up if the court doesn't see it your way.

Pisses me off really because by the sounds of it he could have targeted you in the 50 zone and caught you even if you weren't over the limit and said it was in the 30. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? you can bet he has no evidence of where he targeted your car

tbh its not worth me going against it, i will take the 3 points and run, might have to sort out the intelligent limiter in garage so i can only do certain speeds in certain gears
