Watched quite a bit of this on Saturday night...its weird...as you probably know...

This sounds a strange thing to say but watching it is actually painful (if that could ever happen)...I dont mean it was painful as in a crap movie...just shocking and painful...its that weird...

Anyone else agree?

I found it painful as its a crap movie tbh. The hype surrounding the un-banning was unjustified.

I think its very tame by todays standards and a remake would piss all over it in every sense of the word.

Read the book, its better. God knows how the film is as long as it is as the book isn't that big!

When my dad went to watch it at the cinemas when it came out, he was like


As Marc said, very tame compared to modern standards. There are so many twisted Japanese films that make me just think
