Generally poor when stood alongside competetitors. You never see the 207 GTi used for hot hatch comparisons, because its generally poor. Uses the BMW 1.6 Turbo lump out of the Mini, although why did the mini have a 6 speed box and teh 207 a 5 speed?

i work at for a peugeot dealer and the 207 gti's arent bad but i would hold out for a 200bhp one that should be coming.

They are, a black one lives down the road from me, they've had it over a month or so now.... The engine in a Paxo or 106 might be fun. I'd sooner have the Corsa Vxr engine in a Nova though!

207 GT = 150bhp, 207 GTI = 175bhp.
I like the look of them but they're a bit slow in the acceleration dept for my liking... and IMO a 6 speed box is a must have on a sporty car these days.
