I'm looking for some reasonably priced video editing software.

I wont be editing home movies or anything like that, i'm going to be chopping up some band videos into 2 second segments and will be needing to add plenty of effects to it too.

I've heard good things about Pinnacle - yet its good for home movie editing. I need a little more without splashing out and going mental.
