People are nicking road signs to sell on for scrap This is almost as bad as the people nicking the pumps that were used during the floods to empty water oot of their houses. Or the kids that nicked peoples sand bags to sell back to them

When signs have been nicked previously they have been replaced with new ones made from glass reinforced plastic and are clearly marked as having no scrap metal value.
Yet bungling thieves are still stealing the replacement signs - and then throwing them away when they realise they are not metal[/qoute]
