I like water cooled Porsches with the engine in the front.
I mostly hate 911s but have an appreciation of certain competition variants like the 934, 935 and GT2 etc Robin.

Jim with your views I feel you'd be at home in a rocking chair and a pipe.

I really love the fact how far the 911 has come even though they have stuck to the roots of the car even though its not the most ideal set up in terms of physics. It amazing how they have tamed the handling of the 911 inspite of having the engine slung over the back of the car!

Incidentally, I don't include that fucking awfull Cayenne 4WD thing in my list . I hate them.

Almost forgot, I do love the 959, the Carrera GT and the Grp C cars also.

Fad, try working on and driving 911s, 924s, 944s and 928s for two years or so and for five or six days a week and then see what you conclude is utter shit and what is brilliant engineering and fantastic to drive at the end of it.

Not unless you had sixty grand to spunk on an overpriced under powered bit of old air cooled bettle-esque tat

They do look lovely but they are horrible cars.

I have little choice.

Drive a Carrera and then drive a 928 S4 GT. Also, look under the pair of them on a ramp and you'll understand exactly where i'm coming from.

When I get a 928, i'll show you how long I can hold the arse out on one.

Try the same thing in a 911 from the same year and we'd end up in a ditch, backwards, with head trauma.

Would this be the tosser that constantly makes incorrect sweeping statements and likes writing on other people's windscreens?
