Its my mates 20th tomorrow and were all off to Newcastle! Just wondered if any of you had been for a night out and whats it like/ places you would recommend/ Places to avoid lol.

im going tomorrow night as i live about 20mins away 
only advise i can give is dont go to any clubs near the centre of life. theres a few queen bars there if you no what i mean

It's a good night out. If you go into the big market there are some bars you might want to stay clear of like KISS. (You'll be able to tell once you see the berghaus coats and rockport boots)
The gate is quite good, quay side etc

me and a few mates ended up in a big gay bar near the big holiday inn, was a good laugh and we pulled straight birds as well!

What kind of things are you after mate?
The Diamond strip next to the Central Station is where all the ‘up market’ bars are located with the best being Revolution and Perdu.
The Quay Side has probably the best mix of people and is where most people seem to visit. My personal favorite bars down that neck of the woods would probably be Chase, The Quilted Camel and Sea for some after hours partying.
You’ve also got The Gate which is effectively like a shopping centre but full of Bars and Restaurants but the only places I ever go up that way are Beyond, Mood and Tiger Tiger
And last but not least you have the infamous Bigg Market which is effectively a Charva infested ‘pint and a fight’ area with Liquid and City Vaults being the only bars of any merit.
