Nope, retetion fee covers it. If the cert isn't in your name then there's a £25 fee to put it in your name but that's it

If its on certificate its free. Just take the relevent paperwork to the dvla

The price you pay to put the plate on retention already includes the transfer fee so it wont cost you any extra to take it off the retention certificate.

Yeah thats where the £105 fee to take it off goes. You've then got it on paper for a year to asign it to another vehicle.
