just seem silly to me tho to spend money on such a spec that only see's 10 bhp more and probly far less torque 
or am i just being silly

having a big dollop of power that dissapears as quickly as it arrives is bad. but its personal preference really.

also its not really a turbo vs NA thing, as you can have turbos with nice power lower down the range, just older stuff tends to be a bit rubbish imo. I had lots of fun yesterday in the lakes and didnt really go past 4k rpm even tho my car will pull to 6.5k happily.

N/A Cosworth engines sound awesome, and standard Sierra Cosworth (turbo) engines are known for being very laggy, meaning that with carbs, it's a far nicer engine to live with.
