I been a few years running. Food in the central bit of carmen is shite. Better off going to the harbour for decent food.
Nightlife isn't too bad. More of a couples place I reckon.

We have a villa in peurto del carmen, its quite a nice place, i like it, not exactly a night life tho!?

Puerto del carmen is 20 times busier than costa teguise 
I was there for new year was a good quietish holiday with the boys
Probabaly wouldn't go back but still had a good time

im going to puerto del carmen in august. This will be the 5th year running and although its not as busy as it used to be, the nightlife is still good.

yeah costa teguise is very quiet lol me an mrs went before, been to del carmen to which is alot better.
if u want 18-30 holiday you need malia or somat malia for me was crazy
also loret de mar in spain is quite good actually
