Its still "work in progress".
Multipoint weld in OMP Cro moly 19kg cage with stiffeners on A & B pillars & front triangulation.
Lightened doors, f'glass bonnet & boot with DIY thermoformed rear screen.
Gripper 5 sp dog box & plate LSD
Poly bushed suspension
Tarmac set up inc 350lb springs/18mm ARB & PS tarmac inserts, rear has 23mm bars/25mm ARB & 3 way Proflex dampers.
Engine has had a slight set back, my 1649cc Wossner Grp A piston inlet valve cut outs aren't big enough or deep enough for the bigger inlet valves & 4.45mm lift @ TDC so i've had to buy new pistons & source another block.
Were hoping for around 200bhp @ 8300rpm "ish" though.
Pics.

Has Bic's gone any faster? Last I heard he'd run a 13.5 IIRC.

I dont think he went that quick, 13.8 @ 98/99/100mph or something & 4.99sec 0-60mph.
His car's in bits again, he's going 2.0 & car diet now... i think he realised his car was far to heavy... and their are quite a few lighter 185bhp+ 1.6 16v Saxo's/106's coming out of the workshop this year which will be quicker than his car was so i guess he's had to bite the bullet and spend a wad more cash to try and keep ahead of the pack.

Can't see them going much faster tbh? Mine's 193bhp and 640kgs, doubt any of them will be any lighter than that! Not blowing my trumpet, just making a point. Bic's was more powerful and had the fancy box and launch control to offset his higher weight.

My best 1/4 mile runs
Corsa Sxi (x16xe) - 15.13 @ 92mph
Astra Coupe (z20let) - 14.24 @ 98mph
Zafira Gsi (z20let) - Hoping for a 14.99 very soon!

13.8 in my Rx-7 which was standard apart from a spanking set of 18's and and install. Hoping to run in the 14's with my Saxo within the next month or so....

One guy has gone faster already iirc, same 13.8 but quicker speed... and his clutch was slipping!
Bic's just didn't seem to perform as it should of imo.
Your car's 640kg is supa light!
