The boy can't fight for toffee.
But he can punch like an atomic bomb.
But Kimbo will be beaten when he comes up against a opponent who hits as hard as he does.
Go search on Break.com for Kimbo. Theres a New York cops that kicks his arse, but otherwise, all his opponents loose Wouldn't want to be on the end of one of his punches though.

yeah iv watched all his fights, the cop who beat him was a good few years ago now.And your right about the fact he cant fight, he just knows how to punch...extremely hardBut since his move to mma hes been training ALOT to learn how to fight, think that was his 2nd mma fight so he's only gunna get better.

Tank Abbott of 10 years ago was a much bigger, stronger fighter he'd have gave him a far better fight.
Same as all MMA now though if Kimbo stepped into the ring with a jui jitsu specialist like Minotauro or Frank Mir he'd be arm barred or ankle locked and beat as they can both take a punch.

Thats what I mean, I think if you could stay with him for the first round, by round 2 he'd start to get tired (especially if someone takes him to the floor and uses up his strength).
Would love to see a true martial arts guy lay a roundhouse kick and take him clean out
It'll be a while yet though. As said, this was his 2nd MMA fight and im sure his training is starting to cover his floor work and holds.
Otherwise, from his "current form" he looks only to be able to lay a barrage of deadly punches in.

was the new york cop the white guy and they fought for ages? By the end of it they were both knackered to fuck, i remember seeing him give out a few big punches
I also remember seeing Kimbo split some black guys eyebrow right open in one of his street fights

He's an internet phenomonon that's been over hyped, the general consensus from MMA is if he was to step in the ring with ANY top 10 heavyweight the fight wouldn't go beyond 1 round.
There's even a couple of fighters that thinks it's positive racism, if he were white you wouldn't even find him on the net never mind in an EliteXC ring.

Kimbo's been training with the legend Bas Rutten from day one of his MMA career and i think he'd suprise a few people against some big names.

Lesnar had been training 9 hours a day, 5-7 days a week for 6 months+ yet still didn't have the basic submission defence to stop an ankle lock in less than 2 minutes.
Its all hypothetical but i reckon if you take him to the ground his boxing becomes redundant. I'd actually like to see Lesnar-Kimbo

White guys face was a mess by the end and he kept trying to knee Kimbo?

i still think he's gonna suprise some ppl, look at chuck liddel, no real ground game just good ground defence and a big puncher, how long did he dominate for. Also in Kimbo's weight class not many are top ground fighters

It was Shaun Gannon? The Cop from America, Kimbo's team were complaining cos they said no ground fighting but shaun was doing standing chkes on kimbo and wearing him out real fast by doing it!

After Gannon had his fight with Kimbo he got offered a UFC contract, got battered in his first fight by Branden Lee Hinkle and was never to be seen again.

He was still a NY cop though and i think they need him more there on the streets than the ufc

Before His UFC fight with Hinkle he'd had 5 amateur and 2 professional MMA fights (Hinkle making it 3) so that's no valid excuse tbh.

also his team are doing everything for him the right way, getting him used to the mma style of fighting, giving him reasonable opponents. Just like boxers who make their way up. Its not good practice to throw a new guy in there with the tops pros straight away and ruin their career

He gets destroyed in that, put him in the ring with a decent heavyweight when he doesn't have his pals telling your opponent no knees are allowed and he'd last 1 round. I don't buy his hype at all.
