wouldn't bother with the 8v
there much and such the same acceleration wise as a 1.6 16v

I would 16v it but its getting short of them down here and wana break from the norm lol
plus spotted a minter 65k 8v with loom engine gearbox ecu for £100

keep the 1600 16v
you'll regret putting an 8v in

They are very responsive to bolt on bits. You'll get 150 bhp out of it and it'll have more torque than the 1.6 would have when it's got 150 bhp.

8v are great ive had loads of them and they take a killing hardly no problems and when you do finish them off its £60-100 for another 30k of hell. DO IT
