Your engine has one for all the cylinders, when you press the throttle pedal, it opens and the car accelerates.

"Throttle bodies" normally refers to a setup with an individual throttle body for each cylinder, which means more fuel, more air and more power.

They can be fitted to any car, if there's space, and it's not a diesel.

i think you can put them on a diesel because all diesel engines do is change the fueling but have no butterfly, so you can put the throotle bodies on but take out the butterflies.

wat i always wondered is why no one ever has filters on? or do most people just take them of for pictures?
