It would have been "worked out" when all cars had Drum brakes at the front and rear. You know, when the highway code was writen!!!!!
And i mean worked out coz cars with drums at the front couldn't get past 30mph
I'm going to try that out on a dry day. Sounds like fun

I think the DVLA would have something to say about the sharp edges of the cars tbh.

why would it be overtaking the car doing 70 when theres clearly not enough room in the picture for the car to pull infront and brake without hitting the car's involved in the accident?

so in the time it takes one car to stop from 70mph, the other car has only decreased its speed by 20mph
WTF
is he stopping by popping his bonnet and opening the doors or something?

Is the car travelling at 90mph a 106 GTi, Cos that could make a difference.

I reckon if I was in the RS doing 120 along the hard shoulder, I could undertake both of the other black oblongs, stop, perform a standing start, match the speed of the faster of the two cars again AND stop AGAIN before the pair of them.

The 2 black oblongs have 106 GTI engines in them.
You have no chance.

according to the highway code every car has the same tyres, weighs the same, has the same brakes, everywhere has the same tarmac condition aswell because they all have the same stopping distances.
