VXR all the way, just dont fancy the idea of getting another diesel to be honest

Yeah the 888 is very impresive looking. My mates mate has one. If it was a petrol id definitly prefer it.

888, for the happy medium between performance and economy in this day and age. Drove my mates 888 St8alth, was lovely.

if the 888 had the astra engine it would be more appealing to so-called petrol heads. But like said above its a comprimise beteween economy and perfromance with looks. I cant choose though a VXR would have me weak at the knees if i had to choose. Pity they didnt put the Vectra VXR engine in the Astra for a special edition.

<10k a year get a VXR >10k a year get the 888

Like id have prefered a 1.8T golf or something different S3 perhaps but im doing 600 miles a week & the fuel cost would cripple me!!
Derv if your doing the miles to justify it else stick with petrol.

Only thing about the 888. Has to be registered as a modified car. I'd have thought Thurlby affiliated with an insurance company, so that it isn't classed as modified.
