You can only do a trackday in 1 piece? I never knew that. I bought 2 piece as it's easier as if you get hot you can just take the jacket off. I think they zip together though, I don't know, they've sat in my cupboard since March last year

You can do it in a 2 peice, but they have to be able to connect to each other (like the zip you have).

But going on a track day i'd want a back protector and wouldn't trust a zip to hold it all in. But really its probably fine.

Power ranger suits look far cooler anyway

The SV 650 s is a fantastic bike to ride and i learn't to do the blip throttle on down changes on the suzuki 500 i was learning on. So much smoother going down with the little blip. I'm going to just enjoy the 650 when i get it for a good while . the blue one in the picture you showed is the exact same one i am going to be getting but completely standard with 800 miles on a 55 plate

Very nice How much if you don't mind me asking?

Get on that website i sent you, look in the FS area, get a general idea, you "might" be paying over what its worth, so do some nosing. Unlike here, the search function actually does work

Exhaust will need cutting to put a new end can. Bewoulf cans sound flapping awesome on the SV650 twins. About £150-£200 so not badly priced either.

Then a rear hugger
tinted screen
some crash bungs (can save the bike!!)
Tail tidy
small plate
Pillion seat cover.

Your sorted. 72bhp of fun.

They aren't meant to be massive power bikes though. My brothers scorpion on his sv650 sounds awesome

My older curvey was 69bhp
45lb ft
60 in under 4 though, has got a short box on it.
Looking at about 130 top end realistically.
Gets a bit sluggish after 90mph odd, but up to that is more than enough for a new rider.

Your VFR would have been much lighter and more chuckable though. Think the SV is around 170-175kg.

Stoney, that sounds like a pretty good price tbh.
Make sure its got its 400-600 mile service.

My SV used to loose a little oil around 3000-3500 miles, so be aware of yours. Should be changed every 4k.

Front plugs can fowl in really bad weather (you will be caught out at sometime ) but I never had a problem on mine tbh.

Wet weight of the VFR was 165, sure it wasn't that heavy though. I loved that bike you could really throw it around and it never got beaten on bends.

I had textile stuff for a while. You can get some good jackets but trousers tend to be crap. I got knocked off with textiles and the trousers were useless after. The jacket still lives on! I'd just buy leathers, saves money in the long run.

I feel the need to post bike pictures...
