heya all, a lad i know sold me a set of sport seats front and rear for £5 ive fitted the fronts and the bench in teh rear but i dont think i can get the rear back rests to fit at all,
the situation is 1995 merit 5 door corsa trying to fit ''R'' reg sport seats, is this ever going to work?

dont think 3 door seats go into a 5door

bollox i thought they should do tho, doubt they made different seats, cos the floor pan is still the same im sure

not the shape of the seat that is the problem, its the mountin brackets, surely someones put sport seats in a non sport pre 97 before?

when i hanged my old seat i had to take the brackets from the donor car too

you can make them fit.
I assume you existing seat is a single fold down, and the newer ones are a split fold.
Easiest way is to take all the covers and sponge off the new ones and put them on to the back rest of your old one
