just seen what people think bout nippy 1.6 ie pug gti corsa sport/gsi fiesta zetec s mg zr and what ever eles is out there that i don't know about
just asking what would people say is the best?for handling and just nippy not top speed but off the line cheers

106 gti/vts best 1.6's IMo, 1.6 16v vtec civics are 150 bhp i think so there good too.
All the others are average IMO

just want something that is not goin to cost an arm and leg in petrol (i.e turbo) but also fun to drive and nippy when you want it

civic vti is your best i would say.....not many hatchbacks have double wishbones like the civic vti
