Fancy going to london with a lass i know, fancy doing the london eye then posss theatre or something, any suggestions, places to go / stay and cheap travel, i cant seem to get it below £80 return from leeds/york, Not sure on dates yet so just ideas at min but a sat nite pref

Sleep Inn right by Tower bridge and 2 mins from Towerbridge tube station - its clean, brand new and when we stayed was £45 a room

If you are going to the london eye, then victoria is very close and has a few theatres I work inbetween the two.

Greenwhich has a decent travel inn. Its cheaper at the weekends, think its £45 per nite, i'll double check tonight as i ride past it.
Greenwhich is better to stay in imo. Got the park n that, plus you can jump on the DLR or tube into canary wharf or central london.

for the real london experience I'd book into somewhere in central/west london. As great as cheap hotels are it just wont have the same old london town feel to it

got to see women in black at the ambassdor theater in soho!!
i guarantee u will love it, sooo scary and so well done!! ive seen it twice now!!
london eyes good but packed always!!
west london good for hotels, lastminute.com is a winner

victoria close? fookin took aaages to walk from the eye from victoria and we got lost on the way back but yeah theyre are lots of theatres near victoria

About 1 mile or so, not that far really. I've had to walk it before, except I was walking through the Underground tunnel so a bit more difficult 
London Eye is impressive though, hope you get a clear day if you go on it. Looks great at night too, I drive past it everyday but I doubt you'd see it at night as hotels etc around there will expensive as fook

lastminute.com hotel in west kensington 2nights for £76
stayed last 2 times quite nice for the price.
lion king is very good at the theatre
