Iv got blue LED sidelights on my car, i know there illegal but what would the police accually do if they pulled you over? iv read that you can get 3points, which seems abit harsh to me!

Sorry, but they do look stupid. I'm guessing it'd be treated the same as tints and dodgy plates, a £30 fine and order to remove them.

What colour is your car?
If its black or silver, you'll get a £30.00 fine, any other clolour of car and you'll get the jail.

i had them once mate and now i do think i choose the wrong choice i just got a £30 fine.

If its arden blue i dont think it'll look too bad.
The most they can do is £30.00 (in scotland anyway)

Tell you to remove them, end of.
Tell you to remove them and get a V REC stamped at MOT station.

in dangering other drivers lives by distraction? 3points seems more than fair imo
i fitted some "blue" filiment sidelights way back in 05 off eBay, just done a quick search but it seems impossible to find any now, the market clearly all want LED and Xenon.
anyway, i had them fitted and tey produce a "white" glow rather than blue but certainly not yellow
