Seriously, how does stuff like this go on in the developed world? Its amazing to think that there are people with small enough brains/big enough balls to go out to a public event and make racist gestures to a sports person.

Could you imagine that stuff going down in the UK? You'd be cuffed, trialed and jailed before you can say minge.

Id like to think in the UK someone would have stopped them halfway through getting ready for that little stunt pictured?

The Spaniards appear to be bad for this kind of stuff? Isnt it them who throw mobile phones at opposing football players when they are taking corners and yelling racist abuse all the way through the matches?

Sad, sad day when people stoop this low!

They can't be F1 fans either if they are doing such things towards one of the best F1 drivers in the sport at this moment!

Racism is everywhere unfortunately!

what did they actually say?

from what I have seen they just booed him whenever they saw him.

dressing ion the clothes they did and painting their faces black isnt racist.

However, if they did make directly racist comments or actions then its pathetic.

We can't little cottonwool covered "he's so great" Hamilton get hurt now can we.

He's a sportmans, get used to it. Footballers have been getting racially abused for years, it'll never stop.

I certainly don't condone the actions of the Spaniards, but it was only 6 idiots that will be banned for life.

Yes but this isn't football is it given the impact he's had on formula one that's the reason it won't be tollerated now.

Don't get me wrong I don't agree with it being tolerated anywhere but F1's had a great and much needed lift by the manor in which hamilton (one of first black drivers?) has entered the sport.

i maybe looking into this too deep but given the "rivalry" with Alonso (Spainish) i'm not surprised he is getting some abuse

i am however shocked that it comes in the form of racism

not saying the two are linked, the Spainish may well be rascist scum but no one seme to have mentioned it
