just wondering if anyone has changed their name through deed poll? i need to, as my surname was never offically changed (even though ive had it for 21yrs!)

phoned passport people they said i need to get my signature witnessed by a solicitor, and it costs £5. but i dont have time to get to one, so was looking online. now the actual organisation charges £34 so sod that, but theres loads of other companies that do it cheaper, and instantly. this seems to be the most professinol site ive come acrosss

My mate changed his surname from Cheesman to Walmsley after his step dad left his mum.

He got a BOGOF offer too, so his younger brother did it for nothing
