And its because corsas have the reputation with insurers as boy racer wagons.
D turbo 306 has double the power of my old corsa, much faster etc, but im cheaper to insure it.
Excellent.

i might but i have an sri as a project(swapped a 1.0 106 mk1 4 it) an my brother (breezy-1.4) has a 1.4 8v as his first car so i though a 1.4 8v sri should be near enough the same but i didn't now that much about the power difference then

I paid £1850 for my first year on my 306 1.9 DT, when I was 17. There are plenty of cheaper cars to insure at that age.
