Just realised my car tax runs out tomorrow. Ive just moved in with my dad and moved over the insurance already, but my new V5 hasnt come yet, and the letter from the DVLA has my old address on it as a result... Will they ask any questions at the Post Office as to why my insurance address and the cars registered address are different?
On another note, does my tax officially run out today, or does 31/01/08 mean it runs out tomorrow Fucking useless me

It runs out at the end of the 31st.
And no, as long as the certificate is valid for that car, they should accept it. They're checking that the car is insured, not that it's insured for you.

Yes - as soon as it's accepted, it generally means the car is insured. Although it's illegal to not show a valid tax disc in the car, if the police pulled you over and did a check, it'd show as taxed
