Well what a day,
Firstly, Thank you to Adam for inviting me along and appologies also for not getting my car sorted to go out along side with you - maybe next time
The day for me started off badly - i forgot my helmet and had to turn around and head back home (quickly)
I made it back for the breifing and all was well. We headed back to the garage and i was invited in to Adam's mates Pug Rallye (1.6 8v running some goodies). It was a nice ride - i understand why people buy them for the track, just not for the road.
I then got to go in a 1.6 16v pug with a nutter! my lord he was quick in that thing and EVERY corner was hit on APEX and on the bumps - my head hurt after that!
I then was invited into the VX220, This i was looking forwards to, I had been out with Adam in his Corsa (with now my engine) and it was fun, but this, Was an absolute dream. When i was thinking of how it might be on a track i imagined his litte angry rat blasting in to corner after corner awaiting to be sent up in the air if it caught a kerb. I was Plesently surpirsed, Every corner was hit to perfection, at speed and with amazing agility this VX220 was amazing.
The first run out in it i had felt alittle ill, this was because i hadn't eaten all day, plus the adreniline got to me.
Dinner came and i grabbed myself some food and a quick nap then we were back out.
There were some pretty nice cars out as you may or maynot have seen and there was some amazingly quick cars too
M3 CSL
GT3 RS
Skylines
Scoobys
and an odd looking single seater car which was very nippy.
When adam says he was only passed by proper cars, he means it...
So to sum it all up it was a brilliant day in which i have to thank Adam for and with his new car and driving skills - it just made it a very encuraging day to get my arse into gear and sort my car out.
Thanks
(and yes i cannot spell so ignore the mistakes!)

Funny enough, the EXACT same can be said about the astra. Although it more often fealt like it was gonna let go
Corsa was harder, but overall more fun I think. But the astra (prob like ur 220) feels more planted, its faster, more reliable, safer.....
But you miss the corsa too yeah
