after a new car for the other half, currently have a 1.8 20v T golf with 200bhp, so after something with a bit of poke and comfy on motorways as my cars a rubbush on distance journeys!

got about 6-7k to spend, ideally id like something like a 320ci not the fastest car in the world but comfy and a good cruiser, but not sure if they are available, what other options are there, a4? dont want anything too old either......
