Depends what fish I supose. Happend to mine once. Just kept the central heating in that home higher then usual and got a new one the next day.

All seemed well

Just keep an eye on the temperature, could fill a milk bottle with hot water and float that in there to bring it up slowly if needed etc

How big is the tank?

When the power went out at mine I emptied out 3 or 4 big bottles of coke and then filled them will really hot water and put them in the tank, replacing them every so often. Kept things warm for a few days until power way back.

depends on the fish

guppies will be fine at room temp for example

a friends tank heater died a few weeks back and was without power for 3 days. The plec only just survived.
