cani use this online or at a petrol station(pay at pump) before my pin arrives?

Some you do, but most just activate the first time you use it.
If your worried about it not working sign up to something like lovefilm as for free months free as it checks the card is valid but does not charge it.
Otherwise just ring the bank and check.

the letter with the card said the pin is posted seperate but should follow in the next few days so i think that should be on its way. thanks phi.
as for the pay at the pump, was just the 1st thing i thought of to try the card tbh. as i remember at tesco you dont have to enter the pin.
tried to phone the bank but it just kept cutting off after choosing which option i needed (press 1 or 2 etc)

Is it new as in replacement, or new new. If its a replacement card, does it have the same pin as the old

Just take a fiver up with you if it does not work put a bit of fuel in so you don't look like a twat.
Yes teascos last time i tried at the pump was just inserting the card.

I think it depends on the tesco. Ours got brand new pay@pump machines and now you have to enter a pin into them.
