I've been a bit upset that the family are going to scatter them rather than have them buried. I feel we'll have no where to go to place flowers and stuff for her. I've decided that I'd like a tiny wee bit of them to keep in a locket round my neck. My brother thinks this is totally out of order, and that I must have flipped

Do you lot find this disturbing/strange? I thought it would be nice to have her with me all the time

Not at all Jade.

1/3 of my Grandma is sitting in my front room as I type

How long have you had them for, are you meaning to keep them there or have you other plans?

She past away 6 years ago

There just in a nice Urn in a cabinet nest to a picture of her. Dont think my mum has any plans for them, think some of her ashes were scattered up in Scotland where she used to have a caravan and we used to go every summer so guess the ones we have will be staying put.

Did think it was a bit strange at first, but by them being there it helps my mum feel close to her, so cant say fairer than that.

Yeah I can relate to that, but I can see why some folk think its a bit weird. I'd have thought it wacky in the past, but now gran's gone I guess I just want to hold onto a bit of her forever

Could you not get it made up, and put it in a nice box or somthing (I dont know what Jewlery comes in )

That way you've got a little bit of her to "yourself" and can just display it/keep it somewhere you will see it everyday so your reminded of her?
