My mates best friend is working for heston aparently hes a really nice guy.

ive had kobe beef and i wouldnt pay more fore it, aquired taste. Texture was more like soya iirc

fucked if id pay $120 for one!

You're right Kobe beef is an aquired taste, far more distinctive than your normal beef. I personally love it but I have friends who absolutely hated it. For me the best beef I have ever tasted is the Shorthorn Beef my friends Resaurant uses, I have never experianced such tender cuts of beefanywhere else
