I know when your not in someones network you cant get onto their profile, but if you click their name, a small picture and their name, where they are from etc comes up.

Whats it mean if the name is listed but it doesnt allow you to click on it at all? Have they blocked me?

It means they have their privacy settings alterted so that only their friends can view their profile

you need to be there friend

if they blocked you, they wouldnt appear at all, i blocked my missus and she cant find me it angers her madly

If you 'Poke' someone, I believe it enables you to see a limited profile for 1 week. Something like that. Might be if they only poke back though.

I had some random bird with pink and yellow dot pants 'Poke' me

You can block someone using the privacy tab and it's in the bottom left hand side of the page.

This means they can't ever see you, on searches or on anyone elses profile.

If you can't bring up their profile by clicking once you have searched, it just means only their friends can see the profile. Mine is like this.
