.. you realise the clutch may be going on your car.

It's not a good one thats for sure.

Anyone know how much of a pain in the arse this is to replace and at roughly what cost it would be if I were to take it to a garage?

much better! not that hard to do really if you have the no how. cost at my work i think would be around the 400 quid mark, i do work for vauxhall tho so will be cheaper elsewhere. bet some 1 on here would do it for you if you ask

Shouldnt be too much on a lil corsa, ive had a couple of clutches done now its a bugger but just one of those things, one of mine only had 45k whenit went Owned by 1 careful woman driver prior to me

Ah right so it's not an engine out of the car to get to the clutch jobby then? Oh and for the record, If I were drinking anything just then It would have be spat everywhere after reading '400 quid'.. ouch!

I'm no expert, but I presume you just undo the gearbox mount and drop the box.

yeah dealership prices, if i had access to a ramp i could have the job done in a couple of hours, on the floor it would take me an afternoon or so to do, if your car has the inspection plate on the gearbox it take about 30mins

Yer probably use to pull off at 4k rpm with clutch still ingaged slightly so still moved slowly just revvy (everywhere she went) - sat there in the traffic on the clutch etc
