Brentacre rapped me of £175 last year!
Insurance for my Rx-7, got it in the end for £978 fully comp at 24 with 9 points and 5 YNC's, driving two other vehicles aswell!
I took out the policy at 9.35, got a better quote some £240 cheaper later that morning, rang them back before 12 midday and they said about all the charges etc.... I'd never use them again!!! Principal of it!
I still changed cause I still save a bit and the year after I assumed would still get cheaper.
I always spend a day ringing round for insurance, its worth it! Next time i'll wait till the evening of the day after though incase someone desides to ring back like they did that time!

Surely the consumer protection act over rules their cancellation charges! Your allowed 7 days to change your mind & they cannot touch you

Not sure really Colin, I was going to get in touch with the financial Onbudsmen but didn't think it was worth all the hassle and stress at the time. My corsa had just been destroyed Sara and I were going through a bad patch and that on top was a piss take TBH. I still saved money so I though F**k it. If it was now though i'd of kicked off lol!
