I'd just thought I'd share it with you guys I know a lot of companies and mech's are seeing that the "redtop" conversion (along with others) is getting more and more popular (imo) and therefore they are looking to invest....

Ive just emailed them as if they can offer a good service with good quality parts etc this is something I may look into, ill post reply when i get one

Not a bad price.
Going rate is £1500 which i charge for a drive in drive away conversion if i supply all the parts, Can be done alot cheaper if the customer supplies the parts an just pays my labour to fit.

Also funny thing is they say the photo is off a 2.5 V6 Nova when its a 3.0 V6 on throttle bodys which is in a Astra Mk1

I did ask him a few questions like what condition the engines he uses etc, what type of brake and suss he uses in the email.

But his reply was just

'call me please on 07968470398'

hes just another bloke out to make money, i have done a few conversions round my area now and can do it for as little as 500 quid (im making nothing out of that) as i have only done them for my mates. 2 days work max

do u include brakes and suspension? i always thought this would be over the £2k mark

Agree with 2 days. 10 is a bit excessive imo.

Mine was dropped off on friday, started saturday morning, and would have been finished sunday afternoon if vaux didnt mess up on the CV's.

brakes shouldn't really add more than £100 to bolt on some 2.0 ATE calipers, looking at a few hundred quid for a orthwhile suspension set up though
