Just wondering what all you guys with XE's in your Corsa's do about the engine bay.
Do you all fit the plate kit or can you get away with welding up the engine bay like people used to do with Novas.

I have just welded mine up, no plates. Plates are bit over kill for a road car imo.

I suppose it's because I'm used to Astra' and Cavs but the Corsa' just look so flimsy under the bonnet. I'll deffo weld up the weak points at the very least.

unless its a track car or competition i wouldnt bother with it, to stitch the car is a bit of effort for little gain to go to tesco's with

if you want to do anything,

just weld the 6 piece plate kit, that goes on the lower front cross member, thats the week point..

but it's not really needed
