my corsa xe is fully stripped with two bucket seats and rear cage, it has bilstein shocks on the rear with 60mm springs, it sits really nice with the top of the speedline alloy level with the bottom of the plastic arch, tyre is hidden in the arch, problem is with no weight in the back and no soundproofing when you hit a pothole its solid like theres no travel or shock resistance and it really makes you cringe!!! i want it to be much softer on the back but still handle well and when i hit a bump for it not to sound like the back axel is about to rip off, any suggestions, i was going to just stick standard shocks on but with the 60mm drop they may just bottom out and still give a harsh bang?

you need 6" X 225 lb rear springs with adjustable damping shocks for the rear. fronts you need about -45mm and a 275 lb spring.

standard poundage is very low, too low and the standard spring is far too long.

I have just done some 6"x225 springs for stevex16xe, ask him what he thinks of them.
