i'm going to do my alloys this colour, think it'll be gun metal grey, like tom-simes has on his cesaro's.

firstly, i have 3 alloys that have very small, light kerbing on, what products will i need to fill these in?
and what products will i need for the prep and paint of them?
any tips will be greatly appreciated also. it won't be rushed as i can chuck the zs wheels on whilst i'm doing these.

i used wet and dry 800 and 1200, grey primer, the paint, and laquer
came out canny enough, but for that car i'd pay for a decent job at a powdercaoters. can get them done for an ok price.

Start with 320 if they are only light kerb marks, if not use something abit more course like 240. Then when you have got rid of the kurb marks, use something like 500, then 800, primer, and paint.

I didn't need to fill any marks on the Cesaro's, just sanded the small kerb marks out of the lip.
For my old SXI's, I just used normal car body filler on any deep scuffs, and sanded it back.
I started with 240 grit on some very rough areas of the wheel, slowly moving to higher grades until I finished with wet 1200 grit.
Where there wasn't really any marks though, I just jumped straight into 600 or 800 grit to key it up for the paint.
I used high build filler primer, then grey primer, colour and finally laquer, and the colour I used is Rover Gunmetal Grey
Looks good Ben
