ive got 195/45/16 t1-s on the front t1-r on the back

when i had t1-s all round the car would slid quite a bit front and back

now the cars back end doesnt step out as much but still does it sometimes

overall i'd say they were a decent tyre

Good in the dry. Very good infact.

Uniroyal rainsports are the business for wet driving

What price you paying for the tyres?!

I use Dunlop SP9000's in that size and rate them highly but they are slightly more than Toyo's!

Had toyo's on my old 15's and they seem to wear quite quickly!

I used to have goodyear f1's, were appalling in the wet and all the time! Gone though them in 6,600 miles. About the same as Toyo's.

Now i have toyos wouldnt have anything else!!!!

Completely disagree Steve, I had Uniroyals on the SXI wheels and have F1's on the Cesaro's, and much prefer the car as it is now!

When I got my wheels rebalanced the other day, the owner of the tyre fitters said how he liked the F1's. I told him I used to have Rainsports and I didn't like them, he agreed with me entirely, said he found the same.

Perhaps they just differ with our driving styles?

Not tried Uniroyals on this Corsa so can't comment on them. All that i can say that Goodyear will not be getting my pennys ever again.

One of my reasons for changing was the uniroyals had gone up in price, and I had read several people on here (including Vegasphil) go on and on about how great the F1's were.

IMO the Uniroyals wore quickly, so I decided to go for F1's for an extra £1.80 atyre or something stupid - best decision I have made!
