ive been given a cavalier 1.8 automatic with 45,000 on the clock ,and was just wondering would it be possible to put it in a corsa .wat would i need to put it in to my mates car .

i would keep the cav, no point of stipping a clean car just for a 1.88v engine, theres loads of engines about if you really wanted to do it

stick a non auto box on it and yet it would...

when youve had it for nothing and you know that the engine is sound ,its worth taking the engine out and putting it in another car as the arches are rusty on the chavalier lol.would i need a conversion kit by anychance

It can be done but you're not really going to gain much with a 1.8 8v Cavy engine. Sell the car and get a different engine
