why should he be lying? it's tricky, but I reckon with a mouse I could post a fairly ok time. Just gotta be careful feeding the throttle in with mouse, so you tap the accelerate button etc.
Neither my or Chris's time with FBM on blackwood are 'as quick as we can go' - it's just we've both only done a lap or two in the FBM on that track. Neither of us really play blackwood as it's been around for years and quite a boring track.
plus 4 seconds off a 'averagey' time like 1:15 - is ALOT in a race.
Like the other night I was racing on So_shicane_route, the top 4 were all doing 1 min 6 . somethings. So I had to be on the pace doing 1 min 6's a lap to just keep up. Fractions of seconds would of made the difference in that race, just doing a 1 min 7 or 1 min 8 would've given me no chance of coming close to the front.

Not lying, but I think its actually easier with the mouse, and extremely easy to catch a spin with a very quick unwind. You'd never be able to steer that quickly with a wheel.

^^ yeh that's true i played with mouse for a while before I got a wheel.
tho with a wheel and pedals u can avoid spinning easier as you feed the power in or don't put ur foot flat down - but on a mouse you use buttons for accel / brake.
