the car i learnt in two years ago was LPG, wasnt very fast but really really econmical, and its only like 40p a litre(or whatever it is).

as far as i know it never had any problems. and is still going now after about 3 years since conversion..

only prob is that there v.slow.

not much slower than std.
But i would have to say less reliable.

We run a vauxhall astravan dualfuel original vauxhall conversion.

Tend to find you have to use genuine parts on it, Runs fine on genuine plugs but hates NGK ones etc. Also goes through lamda sensor every 12 months or so.

But its good on fuel! Well cheap to run i should say.

The company we bought it from replaced it with a pair of berlingos that they then had converted.

Nothing but problems with both of them and citroen wont work on them as they arent qualified to touch the gas.

Had them both in the other week for tappets again. Don't need to touch the gas system but citroen still wouldn't do it.

Personally I wouldnt bother unless you do a huge mileage and then id be loooking at one of the vauxhall dualfuels and not a conversion!

Lol £35 a week, are you joking!

You cant seriously be thinking £35 a week of petrol means you need to get a lpg car lol!

I spend £60 minimum a week and still wouldnt justify this, maybe a quick diesel but that it lol!

If you put £35 a week in it would more likely go down to around £20 so £15 a week not a gresat saving is it.

You really have to do some serious millage to recoup the cost of the conversion.

However if you buy one with it already done make sure its done by a reputable company and DEFINATELY get it inspected as I have heard some horror stories.

My Cusin had a BMW 740 with an lpg conversion. Was very very nice

As said, you either have to do serious milage or you want to run around in a V8 saloon, and keep costs of a small corsa then get LPG
