Ive never understood ppl that wear thosr gloves when they drive, i wear mine to keep my hands warm and so they dont slip on the steering wheel like my fleecy ones... why ud want to drive a soft top with leather gloves on is beyond me

Sounds to me like you probably haven't unstitched them? My jacket was like that as well when I got it - long smart style like yours. The pockets come stitched up so it looks like they're just flaps, you need to get the scissors (or a blade/needle) out and start cutting... et voila, pockets!
