Went to turn on the ps3 a couple of hours ago, no video.
Turned on and off etc, couldn't get it through hdmi, plugged in normal a/v cables, worked fine.
Tried my pc on hdmi, same problem, hmm.
Turned it off and back on so the hdmi input came on first, worked fine.
Went back to watching sky, tried to turn ps on again, same problem again, no video via hdmi.
At the same time the TV has also developed a bright patch down the first maybe 3/8 of the left hand side of the screen.
I'll be testing out the infamous costco warranty tomorrow I think.
Originally thought I was making steve's xmas by posting up here that my ps3 had broke

John, I had no issue with the warranty when a tv broke, went in but as they had no further stock got a refund back onto the card. No hassle from them at all.

I've already returned one of these for a seperate fault when I originally bought it, no questions asked, that was literally a couple of days though, never tried a few months down the line.
Should find out today.

Good point the one I took back was only a week old and was exchanged without question. They might want you to ring the Samsung tech line to arrange a repair first but fook that if it's only a few months old. I'd want a replacment but after 30 days you usually get shafted with a repair

Finally took this back to costco, gave me 500 quid cash even though I paid by card because it would have taken a few days to go into my account.
Going to comet tomorrow to see if they'll give me the 37" 1080p version for 700 and if they won't i'll be ordering online
