Wouldn't chance anything at all during the festive period, you are more likely to be pulled just now than any other time of the year.

Its a pull and hassle even if you pass the test. You'll get a lecture either way plus if you do crash you'll blame that and wish you hadn't.

I occasionally have a bottle of beer if i'm driving and have time to have a coke too before I leave.

This time of year I don't even bother though. Polics are waiting in the next turn from pubs round here! I let DES drive

My mate was stopped on a weekday evening for taking a roundabout a bit briskly, was breathalised, he wouldn't drive with any at all but it's put me off.

I'd have driven with a pint previously but even though i've never been stopped in my life i'd not want done for the sake of having a pint.

Me and my dad have both been stopped in the space of a week, just asked me if I'd had a drink in the last 8 hours, no, ok on your way.

With my dad they asked when he last had a drink, it was about 12 hours before, copper said there was a 'faint' smell of alcohol in the car, breathalised him, come up 0. My dad said even tho he knew he was fine, it still has ya worrying
