is it me or is christmas just sort of been forgotten this year???

for me xmas has been shite for the last few years as my dad died and his bday was on boxing day, but usually i hear the whole lead up to xmas and everyone seems to be excited,but this year no1 atall seems to be bothered???

shure it will be good come xmas day anyway!

Christmas for me this year is about spending time with my family. My dad is not well, and could be his last christmas.

I'm not arsed about presents, it's about being happy.

yeh mate thats what ive found, i lost intrest in the whole present thing a few years ago, 2 years ago i spent it away from my family and stayed with friends but last year was good when we just had family quality time, nothing beats it mate!

you to mate. yeh knowone will understand or relize till it happens directly to them either, thing is if my dad was here now i wouldnt take him for granted, but my mums still here but i seem to still sometimes take her for granted, duno y, cus you only get one mum! anyway mate have a good xmas, enjoy it, if u ever need anything drop me a pm, i know a lil bit about what you might be going through.

Feeling the same here. Not many people at work even gave cards this year and we had barely any decorations. Doesn't feel very Christmassy at all
