hey am just looking at turboing a 1.6 gsi engine as it intrest's me quite a bit
i kno i could save time and money for and get a let but i want a small block to be different
i have found a turbo kit from this company CLICKY
doesnt say the price but i guess it's going to be quite a bit of money
was wonderin is it possibly to build your own turbo system?
i suppose a corsa diesil turbo would be different because its using diesil instead of petrol?
just looking at the future and a good project to get my hands into thanks

give it up as a bad job before you even start looking. this has been covered alot of times now and the negatives well out way the positives.
to get it done properly your looking at big bucks for it to be reliable.
be better to source a corsa or meriva VXR engine me thinks if your really dead set on having a small block turbo.

Corsa VXR engine transplants are still in its infancy though.
Totally depends how much money you're willing to invest. THEN, you need to think is this money better spent on a better car.
Are there not some small block turbo'd cars out there from factory, like Punto's and some Jap ones?

Courtney sport have stopped supplying the turbo kits for the cars now anyway, i asked about one for the X14XE and they mentioned they don't do them anymore.
I would either invest in the Corsa Vxr engine transplant, buying Vxr corsa or getting a LET in fairness.
Know the sill-ily small cars that SMART do are under a 1 litre (sumin like 899CC) or sumin are turbo'd!! lmao
